Chapter 2: How to talk

I've written the second chapter as well. If you guys like it and would like to read more stuff, do leave behind comments, as they are my single source of motivation! Take a look at the contents of the chapter-
PS: The PDF below has both 1st and 2nd chapter, so those of you who haven't read the first chapter can read that too.
PPS: I'll try to rectify my bad attempts at being funny.

  4. Just read the first chapter. I like the personal touch over my flat academic texts. You know you have to write chapters 20-25 now right?

you say all that remains is rules. Initially I thought, what about power? But then realized it was a different set of three. Mostly my mistake but if you wanted more clarity, then add a fourth point to the second set of three (about power) then eliminate it like you did the other points.

"If they both speak a mutually exclusive set of languages (that is have no language they can speak in common),..."

"What rules (protocols) could make this, and so much more possible, letting you to send an instant "hey" across the earth faster than you could type it."
Sounds clunky and I was mislead by the what. What about "There are rules (protocols) that make this possible, which let you to send an instant "hey" across the earth faster than you could type it. And so much more."
I saw the ta-da moment you were building to and tried to preserve it!

Oh just re-thought the sentence again..now I get it. Building on the just imagine from before. You could even slap a Imagine in front of the What in the original for dense mf like me!

    1. Thanks for the incredibly detailed analysis. I'll make sure to address all of them when I edit the chapter again. My exams started and I haven't been able to give time to the book, but I have my summer break starting soon and I'll be able to do a lot of work in that duration.

  5. Brilliant! you are using a very comprehensive language in a complex subject but you are writing as you speak so that is the key to success in writing!
I cannot wait to read the rest of the book.

    thank you for sharing!
